Samsung Galaxy SM-M315F may be the upcoming smartphone in the Galaxy M series Samsung unveiled this year in the affordable smartphone list. Galaxy M31 is believed to be the next affordable smartphone in the Galaxy M series phones and is the successor of the Galaxy M30 smartphone. Samsung officially did not say anything about this model, but there were plenty of rumors about the phone’s arrival.
The expected specifications for a smartphone with model number SM-M315F are listed on Geekbench. The listing suggests that the phone runs on Android 10 OS, and it is to be powered by the Exynos 9611 octa-core SoC. The Galaxy M31 is listed to be available with 2GB RAM, but more RAM options may be available by the launch time. The phone scores 348 and 1,214 in single-core and multi-core results, respectively.
The Galaxy M31 is in its early stages of development and is expected to launch next year. It may get an additional internal storage of 64GB from the previous 32 GB in Galaxy M30. In earlier reports, the phone was rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC, combined with 6GB RAM, so it is unclear about which processor and RAM options will finally be integrated to the phone.
The camera specs from the previous reviews suggest that it has a triple rear camera with 48 MP as the primary shooter, a 12 MP wide-angle shooter with a 5 MP depth sensor. The battery capacity is not changed and was kept at 5000 mAh. However, we can’t conclude these specs until Samsung releases the details officially.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 that was launched in February this year powered by Exynos 7904 SoC, paired with a RAM of 4 GB or 6 GB, and a triple rear camera setup that included a 13 MP primary sensor, 5 MP secondary sensor, and a 5 MP tertiary sensor.
