Samsung, the gadget behemoth headquartered in Samsung town, Seoul has unfurled two coveted phones Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ ahead of the mega Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. By reducing the bezels in the new series and by keeping the previous design alive the mobile manufacturing giant is all set to lock horns with iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 series.
Experts believe that the camera in the new avatars of the galaxy will woo several customers in the global market. Features like super slow-motion video photography, dual aperture feature and dual back camera feature in Galaxy S9+ will definitely give it an edge over others. Apart from loading these phones with some of the most high-end features, the company has kept the DeX station alive and kicking which they introduced last year with the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Samsung has rolled out the new and upgraded version of the DeX Pad at the MWC. Though the first look of DeX Pad has not ushered in much appreciation, gadget gurus believe that the company is riding high on the excellent characters of the modified version of the DeX Station.
The DeX Pad has the capability to flare up the displays up to 2560x 1440, which is far better than the DeX Station as it could only be used to power up displays up to 1080p. Though Samsung has not done much modification of the I/O. Two USB ports, an HDMI port, and a USB Type-C port is kept intact but the Ethernet port has vanished from the DeX Pad.
Initially, Samsung S9 and S9+ will enjoy the benefits of DeX Pad. But the OS will be upgraded soon to enhance DeX Pad’s compatibility with other models of the Samsung. The pricing information has not been shared. The DeX Station comes with a price tag of $149.99.
