Ayushmann Khurana, a multitalented actor of Bollywood, is back with another thought-provoking story, a unique love story on the theme of homosexuality named ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.‘ Hitesh Kewalya directs the movie. In the film, Ayushmann Khurana played as Jitendra Kumar’s romantic interest, who performed some difficult tasks in comedy sketches of The viral Fever and web show Kota Factory. The other cast of the film includes Neena Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, Sunitha Rajwar, Gajaraj Rao, and Manu Rishi.
This movie is produced by Aanand L Rai’s color Yellow production company and the music by Bhushan Kumar’s T-series. The film is available to watch on big screens from 21 February 2020.
The plot of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan
Kartik (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Aman (Jitendra Kumar) live together in Delhi. Kartik is gay, and it turns out that Aman, too, is of his kind. When Aman does open up about his love for Kartik to his scientist father (Gajraj Rao) and his straight-talking mother (Neena Gupta), he talks of dopamine, oxytocin, and of his hypothalamus. Aman explains his feelings in chemical terms, but it nicely captures the sheer splendor of love he has for his partner.
The story theme and the dialogues are sensitive, and the banter between the characters with a lot of healthy dose of laughter. Go to a nearby theater to experience the fun and a message that the society needs right now.
The road to happy endings is never that easy to achieve, and that is shown brilliantly in this film by the film’s team.
IMDb gave the 7.1 out of 10 stars to the film.
