Google has published an updated list of the smartwatch devices that will receive Android Oreo. Android Wear, Google’s Android-based smartwatch will be updating with Android Oreo this week. The Android 8.0 Nougat for Android Wear devices doesn’t come up with a huge amount of exiting features, a few bug fixes, and general performance improvements. There were one or two changes in that version such as Touch Lock which allows an owner of the device to lock the touchscreen so that the submerged waterproof smartwatches won’t suffer random taps on the touchscreen.
Google has now released an updated list of the devices which can receive the update at present and the list of those devices which can receive the update in the future. This enables those who want to know whether their Android Wear Smartwatch will be eligible to receive the Android Oreo update.
Google announced the following devices that received the upgrade:

The Android smartwatch market is higher in a stagnation mode currently that some of the companies are pulling out their products from the market altogether.
The stagnation may be due to most consumers of the Android Wear smartwatch don’t find the need for a smartwatch to accompany their smartphone.
