LG G7 ThinQ came in May 2018, and it came with Android Oreo pre-installed. This amazing device is from the Korean company, and they give the guarantee of a minimum of two major OS upgrades.
Android Pie is still running on the device, and, from mid-February 2020, the most-awaited LG G7 ThinQ Android 10 update is still in the stage of beta testing.
When the device got a new Android 10 beta build with an April patch, then the users thought that the stable update would also roll out soon might be in this month.
The March security update only enabled the VoWiFi calling in India, that too while holding the base OS. Right now, the Verizon Wireless is also giving the same Pie-based update; the only difference is that it is coming with the new April 2020 security patch.
The update is coming in the version G710VM20g, and it is airborne, so it might take some time before hitting all the units. The users are expecting the LG G7 ThinQ Android 10 update in this quarter.
The Sprint users of the G7 ThinQ have to wait for Android 10 as it may take some time as the device only got the Android Pie in February 2020. The LineageOS 17.1 build based on Android 10 is already working even in the unofficial version.
LG Stylo 5 is going to get a new security update from Verizon, and the device OTA is coming as version Q720VS10f and get the latest April patch. Same as its counterpart, the update is open, and some units will get it before others.
