Recently, iQOO, a Vivo’s sub-brand, entered into the Indian market with its flagship smartphone Vivo iQOO 3 5G. This device aims to deliver superior gaming experience to its users at an affordable price.
Vivo iQOO 3 sports a quad-camera setup with a 48 MP primary camera, 16 MP selfie shooter, powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G support with 6-12 GB of RAM, fueled by a massive 4,400 mAh battery, 55W FlashCharge fast charging, offers up to 256 GB of onboard storage.
According to a report by Strategy Analytics, Vivo sold about 2.9 million 5G devices in the first quarter of 2020. The devices sold by the company include X30 5G and iQoo 3.
Recently, the company announced through its official Twitter handle that its flagship iQOO 3 would receive two major Android OS updates and gets security and OTA updates for up to three years.
The Tweet says, “Get the best of everything in a single package. Buy an #iQOO3, and get 2 major Android updates, along with regular security, and OTA updates for 3 years.”
Also, Gagan Arora, the Director of iQOO India, confirmed that Vivo iQOO 3 would get both Android 11 and Android 12 updates.

This is rather a great news for the Vivo lovers as the company is known for its timely updates and now this assurance of two major OS updates along with three years of security updates has put the brand back into the priority list.
