One of the most popular Android TV boxes called the Xiaomi Mi Box S has now finally received the stable version of Android 9 Pie today. Now, it looks like the beta program is over and the stable update has started.
Mi Box S has similar internal hardware as its predecessor. It has a Google Assistant-controlled voice remote for playing your favorite TV shows and movies handsfree.
Android 9 Pie doesn’t bring many changes in a cosmetic way. The UI is the same as it was on Oreo. But, it includes some key upgrades like official Prime Video support.

You can upgrade your Android system to Android 9.0. It will give you a better operating system, high-speed performance, and also an increased anti-virus security system. The device will reboot several times to apply the update. Please do not shut down your device when the system is getting updated.
The stable Android 9 Pie update for Xiaomi Mi Box S will have the Amazon Prime app pre-installed. It will also give some popular streaming services after the update of Mi Box S. Such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Now, YouTube, and the newly added Disney+ app also you get.
