Xiaomi started to roll out Patchwall 3.0 for Mi TV 4 55-inch. The updated firmware brings a new patch wall 3.0 UI as well as over 16 new video content providers such as Zee5, ALT Balaji, Jio Cinema, Lattu Kids, DocuBay, and many more. Additionally, you can also see deeper integration and improved animations on the new Disney+ Hotstar app.
To recall, Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4 55 inches back in 2018 in India at an affordable price range of Rs. 39,999. This TV provided 4K resolution and support for HDR10 content playback. It is also the first TV from the brand to feature Patchwall UI.
For those who don’t know, a patch wall is a custom launcher that not only acts as a home page for the TV but can also help in accessing essential functions. It also showcases the content you may like from various video providing platforms.
PatchWall 3.0 for Mi TV 4 55-inch also brings a new Mi Lanting Pro font, UI enhancements, and horizontal scrolling.
Xiaomi launched PatchWall 3.0 UI in February 2020. The update was then available for Mi TV 4X, but later the company decided to offer this update Patchwall 3.0 for Mi TV 4 55-inch, its first TV in the Indian market.
Xiaomi announced the launch of Patchwall 3.0 for Mi TV 4 55-inch via its official twitter handle Mi TV India. The update will be via OTA and takes some time for all the devices to receive the update.

There is also a new Mi List feature that curates lists of TV shows and movies sorted and created according to the genre. Xiaomi claims that Mi List is more contextually aware and recommends content based on occasions, days of national importance, festivals, etc.
OTT apps like DocuBay stream international documentaries on various topics, whereas apps like Lattu Kids provide over 1,500 hours of content for children.
