Panga has Kangana Ranaut, Jassie Gill, and Richa Chadha in lead roles. Neena Gupta is playing the role of Kangana’s mother in the film. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directs the film.
Panga faced tough competition with Varun Dhawan’s film Street Dancer 3D. It was a busy Friday as two films were released on the same day. Therefore, it resulted in a low collection at the box office. On the first day of release, the film collected Rs. 2.7 crore.
#Panga records a low total on Day 1… Gathered momentum towards evening shows at select multiplexes, but occupancy at multiplexes of Tier-2 and 3 cities remained dull… Strong word of mouth should ensure growth on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 2.70 cr. #India biz.
