Panga has Kangana Ranaut, Jassie Gill, and Richa Chadha in lead roles. Neena Gupta is playing the role of Kangana’s mother in the film. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directs the film.
Panga faced tough competition with Varun Dhawan’s film Street Dancer 3D. It was a busy Friday as two films were released on the same day. Therefore, it resulted in a low collection at the box office. On the first day of release, the film collected Rs. 2.7 crore.
#Panga records a low total on Day 1… Gathered momentum towards evening shows at select multiplexes, but occupancy at multiplexes of Tier-2 and 3 cities remained dull… Strong word of mouth should ensure growth on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 2.70 cr. #India biz.

Kangana Ranaut came back to the big screen after playing a crazy character in Judgemental Hai Kya.
Kangana is playing the role of a 32-year-old Kabadi player. In the film, her little son insisted her to do come back to the sport. The movie is all about the dreams and aspirations of a mother. It shows the courage of a mother to pursue her passion.
Panga is playing in 1450 screens in India and 450 screens overseas. Kangana Ranaut’s Panga is one of the lowest openers, but it manages to get good reviews.

The estimated budget of the film is Rs. 45 crores. It will be considered as a hit if it crosses 60 Crores. If it collects 45 crores, then it will be an average film.
Makers are expecting that the collections will see a jump on Sunday due to the national holiday. The film is doing good in Delhi and Punjab due to local flavor and relatability.
