Oppo is all set to release the stable Android 10-based ColorOS 7 update for the Oppo K5 and Oppo K3 smartphones. The company set a timeline in which it is specified that these devices will receive the stable update most probably in May 2020. Oppo also announced the beta update timeline for some of its devices, such as Oppo A9x, Oppo A9, Oppo A11, etc. Recently some of the Oppo devices got the stable ColorOS 7 update. The devices that received the stable update include Oppo Reno Z, Oppo Reno 2, Oppo F11, Oppo R17, and Oppo F11 Pro with some new features like live wallpapers, navigation gestures 3.0, and new User Interface.
Oppo K3 and Oppo K5 Among Others to get the Stable ColorOS 7 Update
A post shared on Weibo by ColorOS gives some information on the release of the beta update and stable update by the company. The post shows us the list of smartphones that are set to receive the updates by May end. As per the timeline, the stable update based on Android 10 will reach Oppo K5 and Oppo K3 on May 20 and May 29, respectively. Whereas, the update is live in China for Oppo K5. Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition users will receive the update on May 30. Oppo A9x, Oppo A9, and Oppo R15 are set to get the ColorOS 7 beta update on May 28. While, on May 15, Oppo A11x and Oppo A11 will get the beta update.
After announcing the ColorOS 7 in November last year, several Oppo Reno series phones started to get the update. Some devices like Oppo R15, Oppo A11x, Oppo A11, Oppo A9x, Oppo A9, and Oppo K3 were in the list of the second quarter of 2020. About a week later, the update was launched in India.

The latest stable ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 offers some cool features besides Android 10. A new UI, a better sidebar, a pause button in screen recording, digital ID document manager DocVault, customizable icons, dark mode, new live wallpapers, a new trim feature in recordings, new screenshot settings, and focus mode. Apart from these, the update has a unique color accessibility mode, which helps visually impaired users to operate their devices securely.
