Apple aims to dominate the global earphone market with two new avatars of AirPods

Apple the global tech giant is all set to add a new zing to its popular AirPod earphones. A leading news portal Bloomberg reported earlier that the company will soon upgrade this product and will load it with some interesting features. This will not only enhance overall performance quality of the product but it will also impact its market dominance, believes the market observers.

The sources close to the company management told media that these new avatars of AirPods are expected to hit the international market by the end of 2018. The new models will be backed by tailor-made Apple designed wireless upgraded chips (W2). This upgraded chip will aid the use of Siri and will ease the connectivity between phone and headphones.

There is also a strong buzz in the market that the R&D (Research and Development) wing of the company is burning their midnight oil on developing the 3rd generation version with a release date of 2019 on their mind.

The new clone of the AirPod will help the users to activate Siri through voice activation. To keep their presence in the market the company is planning to create a completely hands-free and water resistant product by the end of 2019 said the report.

The company unleashed this unique product in the market in the year 2016. Since its foray into the US market more than 800,000 pieces of this product has been sold revealed a renowned market research agency based in the United States.  Tech pundits believe that the company started working on the new product after identifying some connectivity issues within the ear device and the phone.

Recently Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said that the AirPods capacity has been pumped up and the entire team is working hard to bring it to their customers as early as possible.
