Facebook has been in the news for all the right reasons lately. It is always bringing about new updates that are using most of the times. Now, Facebook has come out with a new feature that will have “Facebook Stories Archive“. This feature will help you save your stories to an archive after it has been automatically deleted from your feed after 24 hours. This feature is similar to that of the Instagram story feature, that lets you save your stories after completing 24 hours of run time.
Many users of Facebook spend a lot of time creating their stories, putting up impressive quotes, text, and stickers. These stories also capture some special moments which are worth saving up forever or to re-share and review. This archive function is just the right thing that helps users save the same.
Once a story is posted by a user, you will see a pop up asking if you would like to save it. If your answer is yes, you can save it right away or decline the pop-up and proceed further. After the 24-hour timeline is over, this story will be present in your archive but will not be visible to other users. It can also be re-shared on your feed or deleted if you wish to.
This is not a new update and will be automatically added and available in the application version on your smartphone.
