The latest movie of Akshay Kumar, titled Good Newwz, hit the screens on 27 December 2019. It is a comedy and drama film directed by the Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan, and Aruna Bhatia under Dharma Production company and Cape of Good Films.
Akshay Kumar(Varun Batra) plays a stressed yet loving husband, and Kareena Kapoor(Deepti Batra), a beautiful young woman who wants a baby, Diljith Dosanjh(Honey Batra), a fun-loving guy, and Kiara Advani (Mounika Batra), dim yet cute lady played the lead roles. The movie is a story about two couples who go for IVF and accidentally get their sperm and eggs exchanged in the Hospital.
Good Newwz Streams on Prime Video
According to the reports, the movie Good Newwz will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 21 February 2020. Raj Mehta directed the 2 hours 12minutes long movie with a lot of comedy put in the film.
The movie is made an estimated budget of Rs.90 Crore and they collected a gross amount of Rs.244.19 Crore in India. The film got a total worldwide collection of Rs.318.55 Crore, which is the fifth-highest collection of Bollywood films of 2019.
The critics gave a rating of 4.0 out of 5, and the film bagged 7.9 out of 10 on IMDb, and Rotten Tomatoes gave 83% rating.
