Voice assistants are the most talked about feature in the world of technology. After Amazon Alexa, it is Huawei who will be launching its voice assistant in the market. HiAssistant is expected to be the name of the voice Assistant. The Chinese smartphone company is all set to compete the existing voice assistants – Google Assistant, Apple Siri, Samsung Bixby, Google Lens and Amazon Alexa.
However, the assistance will only be available to the Chinese users only and the feature will be out along with the Kirin 970 SoC, which will be running on EMUI 8.1.
Recently, a report by the XDA- Developers reveals that the HiAssistant files are accessed from the firmware files of Huawei Mate 10. The HiVoice is not as sophisticated as its competitions in the market. The HiVoice is pre-installed on the Huawei smartphones in China. The basic controls like making phone calls and GPS locations will be available in the HiAssistant.
The report says that the Voice Assistant by Huawei will allow the users to access nearly every setting which will include the basic software functions like auto-rotation, volume levels, temperature, switching on and off the mobile data/Wi-Fi/Hotspot, and night mode – all by using the user’s voice commands.
Also, the HiAI will allow the user to search for multiple categories like movies, music, animes etc., which are termed as the primary features offered by the Google app and Google Assistant.
One of the most awaited features of the HiAI is expected to be a solution to the prevailing problems, which occurs while using the other voice assistance currently available in the market. The problem of speaking a specific word in order to get the accurate or required resultant.
