Reliance Jio Launches ₹251 Recharge Pack: Add Fuel to the IPL Fireworks

They may be possessive about their smartphones and impulsive about their travel plans. They may be vehement about the promotion at jobs and crazy about drinking, but nothing defines Indians better than the game of cricket. To add fuel to the fire, Reliance, the main sponsor of the Indian Premier League has launched the IPL dedicated recharge pack.

The recharge pack of ₹251 offers 102GB data in total for 51 days. Nope, it doesn’t end there. Alongside the data, Jio to offer a game app for live cricket streaming. “Stream almost every live match throughout the duration of 51 days,” said Jio in a press release. Needless to say, IPL 2018 will start on March 7, Saturday and the final will be played on May 27.

Jio has planned to shower bonanza during IPL. The Cricket Season Pack is just the beginning. The Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Live will be hosted by Sunil Grover and Samir Kochhar to add comic spice to cricketing fireworks.

The live mobile app will broadcast all the 60 matches during the IPL 2018 season and it will be broadcast in 11 different languages to all Jio users across India. It is yet to be confirmed, but the app will allow users to interact live with the guests during the matches.

Kapil Dev, the former Indian captain said on the occasion of the launch, “Cricket is an intense sport but that doesn’t mean there can’t be any fun on and off the pitch. The players are always playing pranks and cracking jokes in the changing rooms. With Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan LIVE, we are opening up the lighter side of cricket to the world. I am looking forward to the upcoming cricket and laughter season”.
