Mi A3 has received an Android 10 update twice before in the month of March this year. The update rollout was paused after some users reported issues with the then-latest update. Now Mi has come up with one more update of Android 10 for the third time for Mi A3 device.
The company reported the third update’s rollout through a post on the MI community forums page. The first two updates were released in early March and in the last weeks of March, which were halted due to the issues faced by users all around the world.
The new Android 10 update for Mi A3 has the software version V11.0.11.0 QFQMIXM and will be rolled out to the users in the form of batches. This batch rollout process by the company is to ensure less number of errors to a large number of users with the present update.
In the forums post, the company noted that ROM would be released to all the users after previewing the stable ROM successfully.
Some users who got the update mentioned some of the features of the latest update. From this information, it is known that the update size is around 1.33 GB and got gesture navigation, privacy controls, and also the dark theme with it. These were the general updates the Android 10 build would get with its update. The Security Patch details were still not known as they were not mentioned in the latest changelog, and we will let you know once we know them.
With the halt in the previous two updates, it seems like the users are a little confused about downloading the latest Android 10 update for the Mi A3. It would be better if the users wait until the company releases the update to all the users of Mi A3 worldwide.
As per some information, Xiaomi originally scheduled the Android update for Mi A3 in mid-February, but the update was released in early March. Still, it was stopped due to some performance-related issues faced by the users. Later the company released its second update in the last week of March but was also halted due to unknown reasons.
The Mi A3 is part of Google’s Android One program. This program is specifically for getting updates faster on top of the stock Android experience. This initiative is for providing Security Patch and Software updates for three and two years, respectively, from the launch date of the device.
We hope this latest Android 10 update for Mi A3 works fine without any issues. If you think of not risking until you find this is the stable version, just wait for a few more days to download the update on your device.
