A recent report on XDA Developers reveals all the specifications of an upcoming Motorola Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power phones. A report on 91mobiles reveals the design of the Moto G8 through leaked renders. The publication has also announced the different color editions of the smartphone.
The leak says that the device will have the punch-hole display similar to the recent Motorola One series phones. It is the first G-lineup device to show-off the punch-hole screen. The LED flash rear-facing camera setup of the device seems to be similar to the G8 Plus phone. The set up will include a macro lens and an ultrawide shooter as Moto will be imprinted on the side of the cameras.
The logo on the backside of the device will come on the fingerprint sensor. The 3.5mm audio jack is on the top edge of the phone. The volume key and a power key are on the left side of the smartphone. The bottom edge of the phone is not visible, but it seems to have a speaker grill and a charging slot. The Moto G8 may come in different colors like White and Blue. Both the color variants will have a textured rear.
MOTO G8 SPECIFICATIONS
The smartphone has a 6.39-inch display. It has the HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The Snapdragon 665 SoC will be powering the phone. It will come in 2 GB, 3 GB, and 4 GB RAM variants. The phone may have the 32 GB and 64 GB storage. A micro SD card slot will also be there for more storage.
The smartphone will come with the Android 10 OS, 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The 8-megapixel frontal shooter will be fitted on the phone. The rear side of the device will have a triple camera setup and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone’s price is not revealed yet. Moto G8 will come in the markets of North America, Latin America (Mexico), Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It may happen that Moto G8 Power will also launch with Moto G8.
Just before the Mobile World Congress (MWC), 2020, Motorola will do a press conference on February 23. In the event, they will announce the Motorola Edge+ flagship phone. It is not clear that the Moto G8 and G8 Power will be made official at MWC 2020, or they will hold it to unveil it in an event in Brazil.
