Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar movie is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film is an action thriller directed and written by A.R Murugadoss and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the Lyca production banner. The movie casts Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Sunil Shetty, and Nivetha Thomas in the lead roles. The film’s songs are composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Sreekar Prasad and Santhosh Sivan performed editing and cinematography. The film, which was released in India theatrically on 9 January 2020, is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
Story of Darbar:
Rajinikanth played a role as the Commissioner of the Mumbai police named Aaditya Arunachalam, who is also a social activist. Aadithya Arunachalam brings peace in Mumbai by killing gangsters in encounters and by cleaning up with the drug trafficking business in the city. He has a run-in with famous drug dealer Ajay (Prateik Babbar), who is killed, and his father Hari Chopra (Sunil Shetty) vows revenge and kills Aadithya’s daughter Valli (Nivetha Thomas) in an attack on Aadhithya’s’s house. Aadithya swears to finish off gangsters, which he does in his spectacular style.
The Amazon Prime Videos own the digital rights of the film, and now it is streaming online from 23 February 2020. The movie is released in three languages viz. Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
