Realme XT, which was launched in September 2019, is now finally receiving Android 10 based LineageOS 17.1 unofficially. Krishrocks, a recognized developer on the XDA forum, developed it.
At the time of launch, the device came with Android 9 Pie. Android 10 is the tenth version of the Google operating system that has come up with many system UI changes and new features. Android is the open-source project by Google, and with the release of Android 10, the team of LinageOS has started working on the LineageOS 17.1. To recall, LinageOS is the successor to the Cyanogenmods, which was discontinued in 2016, and then again, it came as LineageOS.
Getting back to the recent development of the unofficial LineageOS 17.1 is now available for Realme XT based on Android 10.
According to the post on XDA, everything right from the fingerprint scanner, GPS, Video playback, camera, Bluetooth, Audio, and sensors, etc. are working fine with this unofficial LineageOS 17.1 for the Realme XT. Interested users can also check out the kernel source code.
