Realme XT, Realme C2 Updates Include December Android Security Patch, Dark Mode Switch, And Many More

Realme XT started receiving the latest software update in India, which adds a dark mode switch in the notification center. It also brings the December Android security patch along.

Even Realme C2, the company’s latest entry-level Android phone, has also begun receiving a new software update adding a host of features into it.

The new ColorOS update includes the fast switch toggle for enabling or disabling the dark mode in the notification center. In addition, with the latest update, the Realme C2 will upgrade to the December Android security patch.

A post in the official Realme community forum says that the new ColorOS update for Realme XT, carrying the build number RMX1921EX_11_A.14, is rolled out in a staged manner. And if the user did not receive the OTA notification, then the user can download the update files manually.

● Updated Nightscape algorithm of the front camera, fixed the probabilistic black block issue

● Fixed the issue of app startup animation splash screen when white wallpaper

Apart from the dark mode switch and the December Android security patch, the update also enhances the nightscape algorithm of the front camera. Further, it fixes the probabilistic black spot issue. It also updates with the capability to change the font in the Theme Store.

For C2, the official Realme community post mentions that the latest ColorOS update carrying the build number RMX1941EX_11.A.21 rolled out in India.

As per the changelog mentioned, the update of the December Android security patch. The features that are updated adds the capability to go back to the launcher page by tapping on the blank area in the recent task interface.

Furthermore, users can now enable a flash notification for all incoming calls on the C2 mobile.

The update has also fixed an issue, which has caused the volume bar to get blocked by the camera in a horizontal orientation. The Android Pie-based ColorOS RMX1941EX_11.A.21 update for the Realme C2 adds a fast switch toggle for the dark mode in the notification center.
