Xiaomi added yet another model to its Mi TV 4 series of Smart TV. Xiaomi is set to release Mi TV 4C, Mi TV 4A model launched in its home market, is having the features like voice control support, enhanced audio and a thin design. The new Mi TV 4A is sported with a 40 inch full HD panel with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. This is positioned between the 32 inch and 50-inch models of the series. Both Mi TV 4A and the 4C televisions have the thin bezel and smart TV features at affordable prices than the flagship Mi TV 4 range by Xiaomi.
The all-new Mi TV 4A 40 inch model by Xiaomi is having direct type backlight, 178 degrees, refresh rate of 60 Hz, 5000:1 static contrast ratio, and 8ms dynamic response. Connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 + LE, USB (2), HDMI (2), AV (1), analogue signal DTMB(1), and Ethernet are provided in Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 inch model. It also has two 8W speakers with DTS and Dolby enhancements.
The new Mi TV 40 inch model is having key features like voice control support, which help the buyers to use the remote with built-in microphone to give commands like “shut down after 15 minutes“, or fast forward to 30 minutes 54 seconds” to control without pressing a single button in the remote. This is based on the Android-Based Patchwall UI which is also used in other TVs by the company.
The new Mi TV 4A 40 inch model is packed with 64-bit 1.5 GHz Amlogic L962-H8X processor and 750 MHz Mali 450 GPU with 1GB RAM and is coming with an internal storage of 8GB. The new model is expected to price at a rate of CNY 1,699 which is roughly around Rs.17,500.
It is also expected to launch a new Mi TV 4A model in India on Wednesday, March 7, as Xiaomi is previewing the launching of a low-cost TV in India. But we are not sure whether it will be the new 40-inch model or the smaller 32 inch variant of the series, that the company tries to bring in to the market.
