The Exynos (global) variants have already started receiving the stable Android 10 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The Galaxy S10 and Note 10 have already got the stable update for Android 10 firmware for both the Snapdragon variant in the USA and Exynos variants globally. Any time now, the same update will be available for the global S9 and S9 Plus variants. Beta 4 may be the last one. However, the Snapdragon variants need some testing. If you stay in the USA and you possess a carrier unlocked Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note9, then you may get the Beta 3 OTA update. You need to register yourself on the Samsung Members App for One UI 2 program to get the update.
The Snapdragon Galaxy Note 9 and S9/S9+ devices in the USA are now receiving the third One UI 2.0 beta update. This update is for the Unlocked variants only. The carrier variants may receive the stable build directly due to carrier restrictions. The new Android 10 beta 3 has new build numbers N960U1UEU7ZTA1 for the unlocked Note 9 (SM-N960U1), G960U1UEU7ZSLF for the Galaxy S9 (SM-G960U1), and G965U1UEU7ZSLF for the Galaxy S9+ (SM-G965U1).
The size of the new update is around 227MB and brings the latest January 2020 security patch level. The best point of the update is the new camera app. This camera app fixed the front camera HDR capture failure after some Stride Alignment Changes. Also, some users have reported that the DeX for PC now works on the Galaxy Note 9 and S9 on Android 10.
