Back in February, Google started to release Android 11 developer preview. It is expected that the company will begin rolling out a public beta update from this May, and with reference to the release time of the Android 10 update, Android 11 should hit the devices in the third quarter of 2020.
Coming to Asus, a Taiwan based company, is not as popular as the Xiaomi or Samsung. Still, it has made its customer base happy by providing them excellent software support as well as value for their money. Till now, almost all the eligible Asus phones received Android 10 updates, and now its time to work on Android 11. You can check out the Android 11 features here.
The most popular devices such as Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Z, and also gaming based phone ROG Phone 2 are now running on Android 10 beta and stable updates.
Android 11 Update For Asus Devices
Asus gives only two major OS updates to its devices. So, only some devices of this brand are expected to receive an Android 11 update. The latest launches from this brand that came with Android 10 are for sure to receive the Android 11 update. But some devices that are launched with Android 9 Pie would also receive Android 11.
The company launched only five devices from 2019 to till now. Among them, three phones, including Zenfone Live L2, Max Shot, and Max Plus 2, are not eligible for the Android 11 update. So, only two devices, as of now, are said to be eligible to receive the Android 11 update. They are
- Asus ZenFone 6 (Asus 6z)
- Asus ROG Phone II

If you are wondering when the Android 11 update would hit Asus devices, concerning to the rolling out of earlier updates, the Taiwanese company is likely to release the stable Android 11 update to its devices in the mid of Q4 2020.
