The developer, named topjohnwu, who is behind the popular rooting tool Magisk, released a HotFix for the previous Magisk, recently got official support for the Android 10 OS update. In the earlier releases, the developer was busy modifying MagiskSU (SuperSu) for better root support on many Android devices by bringing significant changes to the root structure and also the method itself. With Magisk 20.2 build, we got several optimizations under the hood. However, there were some bugs in the last version. To get rid of those bugs, download and install the latest Magisk 20.3 HotFix zip and also Magisk Manager 7.5.1 APK.
The previous Magisk version 20.2 update had several optimizations like the way MagiskSU manages communication between application and daemon. This means we have more stability for rooted Android devices. To support the new communication method that was introduced in Magisk 20.2 build, a Magisk Manager 7.5.0 APK was also released with this. However, version 20.2 had some problems with some of the Android devices – especially LG mobile phones. To contradict that, Magisk 20.3 features a HotFix. It is not tested on all the LG devices, but the latest Magisk v20.3 zip along with Magisk Manager v7.5.1 APK has to work correctly.
From the changelog below, we can see that the MagiskBoot structure got a fix for – Fix lz4_legacy decompression. Magisk Manager 7.5.1 APK fixed the toggling app constituents in the MagiskHide screen. It has also updated translations. Previous builds of Magisks’ implemented a new Magisk Hide method for the root detection apps and even bypassing the advanced SafetyNet check on the latest versions of Android. With the latest Magisk 20.3 HotFix, you will get all the above and more.
Magisk 20+ builds’ highlights
Some highlights of Magisk 20+ builds include – Xiaomi’s MIUI 11, Samsung’s OneUI 2.0, Google’s stock android, and official support for Android 10 firmware for several OEM manufacturers like OnePlus’ Oxygen OS 10 as well. The latest build version is highly recommended if you are looking for a full proof solution for root hide (or root detection) like Google Pay, banking apps, Samsung Pay on rooted devices. It also works on Android 8.0/8.1, 9 Pie, Oreo, and up to Android 10 from Android 4.2.
