With Nokia 3.1 Plus Android 10 update, Android 10 has almost been rolled out to many devices of Nokia, the Finnish OEM that pushed the upgrade to several devices like – Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 9 Pureview, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 2.2, and Nokia 6.1 Plus. Now, it seems like Nokia 3.1 Plus also got the latest Android 10 update.
A few days back, only Nokia 5.1 Plus received the Android 10 internal beta got updated along with Nokia 8 Sirocco. Of the two devices, only Nokia 8 Sirocco got upgraded to the latest Android 10, leaving out Nokia 5.1 Plus. Juho Sarvikar, HMD’s Chief Product Officer, recently revealed that the update would be released “soon” after the developers fix the WiFi bug.
The Finnish OEM is currently rolling out a stable Android 10 update to Nokia 3.1 Plus instead of Nokia 5.1 Plus, for which it may take some more time. As per the roadmap released by Nokia, Nokia 3.1 Plus stands as the last device of the 7 promised Nokia devices that are set to upgrade to the Android 10 in the early second quarter.
As per the official announcement post, the update is set to roll out for Nokia 3.1 Plus devices in batches. The post confirms the release of the update and also indicates that 10% of the devices will receive the update today, half of the total devices by May 16, and the update reaches all the devices available by May 18.
The first batch of countries to receive the Android 10 update are the important markets for the Finnish company. These countries are namely Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Belarus, Cambodia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Iceland, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Libya, Luxembourg, Lebanon, Macau, Mongolia, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Norway, Netherlands, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
