Redmi Y3 was launched in India in April 2019 with MIUI 10.2 Global stable ROM based on Android 9 Pie. In October, Redmi Y3 received MIUI 11 update.
Xiaomi does not have any pattern of releasing the MIUI global stable ROM update, but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated every 30 to 45 days.
The update brought along many features, including new dynamic sound effects, a new minimalistic design, a new Mi File Manager app, Wallpaper Carousel, Steps Tracker, and even a Floating Calculator.
Some users of Redmi Y3 posted in forums that they have received the MIUI 11 update based on Android 10.
MIUI 11 rollout by Xiaomi was challenging to track so far, because of the confusing naming convention of the update and the different upgrades over multiple regions. In addition to this complexity, there appears to be a very fine demarcation between the builds, which are intended only for the Mi Pilot beta testing program, it means that the builds assigned for this group will not be installed on devices with Mi Accounts that don’t have the requisite permission. The same build then gets opened up as stable release, creating a lot of confusion. If you get the error message that the update is for closed beta testers only, you can also sideload the update.
If you want to sideload your Redmi Y3 phone with the stable MIUI 11 ROM, then download the MIUI 11 update from the link, which is provided below.
