Samsung, the well-known name in the world of smartphones, has come up with an entirely new set of smartphones this year. Samsung rolled out Android 10 with the latest update OneUI 2.0 for the Samsung Galaxy A20 in multiple regions like Taiwan and China. Google brought in Andriod 10 OS back in September 2019, and a number of OEMs are pushing the stable update for their phones now.
As per various roadmaps that have surfaced on the internet about Android 10 updates for Samsung devices, most of the devices are expected to pick up the firmware update, somewhere in Q2 of 2020.
As other devices have to wait, Samsung Galaxy A20 now got an Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update in multiple regions. Samsung Galaxy A20 released in March 2019, and it came with stock Android 9 Pie (One UI) and was backed by a 4000 mAh non-removable battery.
But now, as per the reports, the Samsung Galaxy A20 (model number SM-A205F, SM-A205FN, SM-A205YN, SM-A205GN, SM-A205G,) is getting its second major Operating System which is One UI 2.0 (Android 10).
The update bears firmware version BTD3/BTD2 and is life for the users in Australia, Vietnam, Chile, Russia, and the Philippines, whereas other regions will get it shortly. Also, the update is packed with April 2020 security patch level.

Navigate to Samfrew, to manually download the updates for your specific Samsung Galaxy A20 models. Notably, the Galaxy A20e has already bagged the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update, and it was about time; the Galaxy A20 model also picks it. And, it has released its successor version named One UI 2.0 for Android 10 running devices. The One UI 2.0 provides plenty of improved features and all the goodies of Android 10 as well.
The latest update will be received via OTA in batches and will take some time to hit all three Galaxy A-series smartphones. However, users can head over to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install to check for the update manually.
Otherwise, as already mentioned, you can also grab the update package file from the Samfrew or Frija tool and update your Samsung Galaxy A20 locally. If you don’t know the Frija tool, Frija tool downloads the firmware file directly from the Samsung FUS (Firmware Update Server) onto your Samsung device.
