[Download Link Available] Xiaomi Mi A3 Gets New Android 10 Update With Fingerprint Scanner Glitch Fix & More

Xiaomi released an Android 10 update for its Mi A3 device for the first time in February this year. With some bugs found, the update was called off later. Then the company released the second update in March, and sadly the second update to has some bug issues, and the rollout was halted once again. For the third time, the company released the Android 10 update, and this time the update was released in batches to prevent backlash from the users all around the world.

The third update was announced via a post on the company’s community forums page. The latest software bears the version number V11.0.11.0 QFQMIXM and is available for download. In the forums post, the company noted that ROM would be released to all the users after previewing the stable ROM successfully.

Many users around the world were furious on Xiaomi for rolling out faulty updates for two times and also demanded refunds from the company. The latest build also seemed to fix the fingerprint scanner glitch and Camera EIS issue that were part of the second update.

Update 1(May 6)

The third Android 10 update to Mi A3 has the version number V11.0.11.0 QFQMIXM and reportedly brought some bug fixes with it. The latest update is rolled out in batches to ensure minimum possible error in the update. The update’s release is like the trial version. If released at a time worldwide, then the update, if it has any bugs, would be backlashed by the users. To avoid this, the update is rolled out in batches.

The latest update’s size is around 1.33 GB, and the information regarding the update’s receipt is posted on Twitter and Reddit by some of the users. Although the update fixed some major problems, the camera shutter speed is reduced to 1/4 s.

Update 2(May 6)

Update 3(May 8)

As stated before, Xiaomi started rolling out Android 10 updates to its Mi A3 devices worldwide but in batches. The update has reached 80% of the total devices which excluded in India in it.

Update 5(May 13)

The third Android 10 update to Mi A3 device reduced the camera shutter speed to 1/4s(global variants) was now addressed by the company in its latest update. But, the update has not yet reached the Indian subcontinent until now. This means that India can expect the update’s release anytime soon.

With the update, the company addressed the camera shutter speed issue and the Android 10 Launcher issue. The users on Reddit commented regarding the issue being resolved. The update is around 35 MB in size, and some of the users already started to receive the update.

 

The latest update that resolved the camera shutter speed issue was received by 10% of the users worldwide.
