PUBG Mobile update 0.17.0 has made its way, and only a few days are left for the release. Besides, the beta version of the update is available with many new features. The latest update is going to bring some exciting changes that include a revamped UZI, death replay, the all-new DBS shotgun, colorblind mode, and many more.
PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 Update Features
Many YouTubers and gamers have confirmed some of the features of this upcoming update. Here are some of the features and items that would arrive with the update.
DBS Shotgun
DBS will be the new weapon that may come with the update. It is a shotgun with double-barrel and a pump-action, bullpup design. The shotgun can be gained from airdrops or care packages. It has internal magazine tubes that might hold up to fourteen 12-gauge rounds. It can also be equipped with a holographic sight, red-dot sight, and 2x to 6x scopes. It makes one of the most deadly weapons in the game.
UZI update in PUBG Mobile 0.17.0
UZI is the submachine gun that is commonly found in the game. It uses 9mm bullets, and it is incredibly deadly at its close range. Till now, no player could attach any sight or scopes to the UZI. However, the new update will allow a player to equip red-dot or holographic sight on the gun. It makes much better encounters at medium distances.
Colorblind Mode
PUBG Corp, in 2019, announced that the PUBG Mobile would get a colorblind mode. The announcement was made during the PMCO 2019 Fall Split Global Finals with a promise to add the feature in 2020. The 0.17.0 update may do that since the colorblind filter is available in the beta update for the game. It will be very beneficial for people who are having the issue of colorblindness and have difficulty identifying some things.
Death Replay
In PUBG, if you die, that’s it. The deaths usually leave the players wondering, how did it happen? To help the players understand better what exactly went wrong, which led to their death in the game, PUBG is adding a death camera, which is a popular feature in Call of Duty, to show the players how their enemy defeated them.
Tactical Marks in PUBG Mobile 0.17.0
Another much-expected feature of PUBG Mobile is the introduction of tactical markers. Using different markers, the feature will allow players to mark up to eight different points. Until now, only one marker is available for the game. This new feature will allow players to use different markers to indicate the enemy location, weapons crate, gathering points, and other things.
Extreme Cold Mode
To keep the survival mode challenging, PUBG Mobile is arranging an Extreme Cold mode. In this mode, the players need to continually build fires and then hunt animals to survive the cold wave. A timer would denote when the next cold wave occurs to let the players prepare for it.
Aside from these changes, some minor changes are also expected, like the Erangel 2.0 update.
The beta version of the 0.17.0 update is already live now, and the last version is going to arrive at the start of March. Along with the updates stated above, the forthcoming release of the game will also feature 2nd anniversary content for PUBG Mobile.
Besides, players can also look forward to PUBG Season 12 that is rumored to get 100 RP rewards, 11 new emotes, and a new Royale Pass.
